
MEET HAZEL CLARK
Hazel Clark is an accomplished therapist with a diverse counseling background. She has held leadership roles in notable programs under the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the NYS Office of Addictions Services (OASAS), successfully managing both.
Her extensive counseling experience spans various areas, including severe and persistent mental illnesses, substance use disorders, gambling addiction, interpersonal conflicts, family dynamics, trauma, and grief. Hazel has contributed significantly to the field by providing supervision, professional consultations, group therapy facilitation, and program planning in collaboration with community providers.
Hazel pursued her education at Pace University in New York City and Russell Sage College in Troy, N.Y., where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling & Community Psychology.
Hazel is also an active member of the American Counseling Association and the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development.
